Rental, swapping and the monthly fee

How is renting batteries different from buying them?

Buy them with the scooter and they are yours, paid once. Rent them and the scooter costs less, you pay a monthly fee, and a worn or faulty battery is replaced. For example, Evo is 21,600,000 VND with batteries, or 15,800,000 VND plus about 350,000 VND a month.

Where are batteries swapped, and how long does it take?

At battery-swap stations, in a few minutes. Before you choose a scooter, the shop shows you the stations near your home and your work.

How much is the monthly rental?

About 175,000 VND a month for one battery and 350,000 VND for two. The exact fee follows the battery provider’s plan when you buy.

Does the price include registration?

No. The shop handles registration and tells you the fee before you pay a deposit.
